WiseCall is a service provided by Owlnet IP Ltd ("WiseCall", "we", "us", "our"). This policy explains what information we collect when you use the WiseCall website, portal and AI phone service, how we use it, and the rights you have under UK data protection law (UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018).
1. Who we are
WiseCall is operated by Owlnet IP Ltd, Audby House, Audby Lane, Wetherby, West Yorkshire, LS22 7FD. We are the data controller for personal data processed through the WiseCall service. You can contact us at info@owlnet.io or on 0331 630 4699.
2. Information we collect
- Account information — name, business name, email address and phone number when you sign up or request a demo.
- Call data — audio, recordings, transcripts, call summaries, caller numbers and the details callers provide when they speak to a WiseCall AI receptionist.
- Configuration data — the agent settings, prompts, opening hours, routing contacts and business information you enter into the portal.
- Billing information — subscription and payment details, processed securely by our payment provider (we do not store full card numbers).
- Usage and technical data — log data, device and browser information, IP address and how you interact with our website and portal.
3. How we use your information
- To provide and operate the WiseCall service — answering, routing and summarising calls and taking messages.
- To create and send call summaries and notifications by email and SMS.
- To set up, configure and support your account and agents.
- To take payment, manage subscriptions and prevent fraud or misuse.
- To improve our products and for security, troubleshooting and analytics.
- To comply with our legal and regulatory obligations.
4. Call recording and transcription
To deliver the service, calls handled by a WiseCall AI receptionist may be recorded, transcribed and summarised. Where you deploy WiseCall on your own phone numbers, you are responsible for informing your callers that calls may be recorded, as required by law.
5. Service providers we share data with
We use trusted third-party processors to deliver WiseCall, including telephony, speech and AI providers, cloud hosting and database providers, our payment processor, and email/SMS delivery providers. These providers only process data on our instructions and under appropriate contractual safeguards. We do not sell your personal data.
6. International transfers
Some of our providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as UK adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses) to protect your information.
7. How long we keep data
We keep personal data only for as long as needed for the purposes set out in this policy, to provide the service and to meet our legal obligations. Call recordings, transcripts and summaries are retained for the period needed to provide the service to your business and may be deleted on request, subject to legal requirements.

Under UK data protection law you have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of your personal data, to object to processing, and to data portability.
