What is WiseCall?
WiseCall is your AI receptionist. It answers and manages your inbound calls around the clock, qualifying enquiries, booking appointments, capturing details and following up by SMS, email and WhatsApp. We provide a dedicated number, so there's no phone system needed, and if you already run a PBX, you can connect that instead.
Do I need a phone system to use WiseCall?
No. By default we provide a dedicated number and WiseCall handles everything, answering calls, routing them to the right person's mobile and taking a message if no one's available. There's no phone system to buy or manage. If you already run a PBX, you can register WiseCall to your existing system instead.
What counts as an AI call?
An AI call is any inbound call answered and handled by the WiseCall AI receptionist. Internal calls between your team members are not counted. Your plan includes a monthly allowance of AI calls, alongside AI email, WhatsApp, live chat and SMS. Need more of any channel? You can add a usage pack at any time.
Can I keep my existing business number?
Yes. In most cases your existing number can be ported to WiseCall. If you need a new number, one is included with your plan. We will confirm what is possible for your specific number during onboarding.
What happens if the AI cannot help a caller?
WiseCall knows when a call needs a person. If the AI cannot resolve an enquiry, it will route the call to a member of your team, offer a callback, or send an urgent alert depending on how you have configured your escalation settings. No caller is left without a clear next step.
Do you offer out-of-hours only or overflow modes?
Yes. You can configure WiseCall to answer all inbound calls, to cover only out-of-hours periods, or to step in when your lines are busy. All three modes are available on every plan at no extra cost.
What UK outbound calls are included?
Every plan includes outbound calls to UK 01/02 (local and national), UK 03, and major UK mobile networks. Standard exclusions apply. See the full inclusions and exclusions listed under the Pricing section.
Can WiseCall handle email enquiries too?
Yes. AI email is included in every plan, with a monthly allowance of AI email replies (alongside AI calls, WhatsApp, live chat and SMS). WiseCall reads and replies to inbound emails using your agent's knowledge base, just like it does on calls. Full details are under Pricing.
How does pricing work?
Plans start from £99/month (Starter, 100 AI calls), rising to £199/month (Professional, 300 calls) and £399/month (Business, 750 calls). Enterprise pricing is custom. All plans include every WiseCall feature, the only difference is the number of AI calls included each month. Additional calls are billed monthly at the overage rate shown on your plan. All prices exclude VAT. Full details are listed under the pricing section.
What is the contract term?
All WiseCall plans require a 12-month minimum term. Payment is made monthly by Direct Debit. You can upgrade at any time. Downgrades are handled at the point of renewal at the end of your current term.
How is my data handled?
WiseCall is built with GDPR-aware data handling. Call summaries and captured data are stored securely on UK-based infrastructure, with access controls per team member. For specific data processing questions relevant to your sector, please contact us directly.
Can my IT provider or telecoms reseller offer WiseCall?
Yes. WiseCall has a partner programme for telecoms resellers, managed service providers and IT consultants. Partners earn lifetime commission on every customer they introduce. Visit the Partners section above or contact us to start an application.
